The SCSD Board of Education put Proposition SCSD on the April 8, 2025 ballot. Proposition SCSD is a no-tax-rate increase bond issue that would provide $90 million to improve and maintain our school facilities without raising the current property tax rate.

The Parents as Teachers program is designed for families with children prenatal through five years of age. Services include developmental screenings, home visits and group connections events for all families. These services are free to district residents.

Starting with the 2026–2027 school year, all returning SCSD K-12 families will complete residency reverification each year. In the past, this process was required only at certain grade levels. This update helps ensure accurate enrollment and consistent processes across all schools. Residency reverification is the process of confirming your family’s current address.

A hearing will be held at 5:45pm, September 11, 2025 at 400 North Sixth Street, St. Charles, Missouri, at which time citizens may be heard on the property tax rates proposed to be set by the St. Charles R-VI School District. The tax rates are set to produce the revenue required by the budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025.
